The Perfect Product

Nothing in the world can be perfect. This is true no matter what is under consideration. Many people tend to say that their girlfriends are perfect, no arguments there. Here, I wish to say something about this fact being exploited in thriving businesses in the world.

There is one secret to any business. Please don’t ignore this just because I am a guy who has just entered his twenties but do hear me out. The secret is simple. Never create a perfect product. Try to add a minimum of one imperfection to your product. Why? The answer is simple once again. Your business has a possibility of growth only as long as you have room for improvement.

Aside from the fact that things can always be improved upon, it is always imperfection that raises the value. Remember diamonds? A product is your diamond. The secret to a good business is just as simple as that. Look at mobile phones for instance. It is one of the most thriving businesses in India today and can anyone name a perfect mobile? Go on. I dare you.

Two kinds of College

When people asked me 'How do you like your college?', i always had a prompt reply of 'I like it closed'. Don't take me wrong. I did have fun during my engineering but i constantly felt suffocated. You would too if you did engineering where i did. That was the first thing that changed when i started with my MBA.

I believe that liking a place actually has us working better there. I experienced this when i worked and when i joined MBA. Nearly fifty days into my course and the feeling is fresh. I can finally smile. All that keeps me wondering is why do certain institutions make life a living hell for its students? Is taking up engineering in a college like mine (It is reputed indeed) a sin?
 
We had the feeling that we were re-living prison break everyday. Now???? I have a feeling that I'm re-living something fun. Something like FRIENDS or HIMYM or whichever you find is cool

Wrong ... But a Thrill indeed

Hi,

There is nothing quite like the thrill of copying in an exam. Having no experience in it is sad for me but I have had quite a lot of experience in sharing answers during the exams. I still remember my class 12 when a friend was able to get answers from me despite the teacher changing our positions in each exam. We were even on the opposite corners of the room with different question papers and he still got a 65+ on 75 in a computer science exam. 

The thrill of fooling the invigilator and in cases like mine, taunting the teacher is fun. Somehow, in the broken education system that we have today, things like these seem to be the only fun thing. People say stuff like ‘you are not helping your friend but only spoiling him’ in a pathetic attempt to stop him but will anyone not tell answers to a friend? 

Life is short. Our system is broken. Our exams contain loads of theory which neither the teacher nor the students understand. What is the point is doing it in an uptight manner?

Laughing it Off

One of the greatest things in college life is making fun of others. The perks here lie in the fact that nobody is hurt when friends tease each other. It leads to the so called “being sportive” attitude if you are an optimist because let’s face it. It’s better to be made fun of in a friendly environment than in a hostile environment that awaits us. 

I’d like to call it the training grounds and the friends who tease us will give us a good idea of how our bosses will be like at their best moods. I intend no offense against people who make fun of others because if we cannot make fun of ourselves, how can we improve?
 
Despite people being extremely creative in coining names and other sounds etc., it is the person himself who creates room for most of it. Come on! If you wear extremely flashy dresses, extremely weird hairstyles, make the funniest mistakes and create awkward situations, it is nice to have people laughing about it rather than fuming about it

The Role of the Groom in Weddings - 'Show up and Say the Right Name'

The event of a guy planning out his marriage brings about questions regarding whether he is out of the closet or not. I’m never concerned about that but what I am going to write about today is about what a guy owes to his woman on his wedding. Whether people agree to this or not, the wedding is a woman’s dream and not the guy’s. If you are a guy and you have been dreaming about your wedding since you were a child, then good for you. 

However, a wedding is a dream for a woman. Women can talk about weddings for the same amount of time that guys can make fun of them. Believe me when I say that both never end. However, it is generally fun to see your woman excited and going in full flow about the wedding. Rather than listening to what she has to say and commenting about it, it would be better to see her happy and to go on and on. After all, it is her day.
The best thing a guy could do on his wedding day is to let his woman have all that she wants. She is marrying him. Why not give her the pleasure. They say that marriage is about sharing and love is about giving and not expecting. A wedding is a gift of love that a guy gives to his woman. He is a part of it. The ideal guy would let her have all she wants, turn up when she wants him to and ask for nothing much but a waltz with her.

English TV series teach you a few stuff

1. All ghosts and other creatures exist only in USA (Supernatural)
2. Every high school and college kid in the US smokes weed (Weeds and Breaking Bad)
3. Nobody is a virgin (Almost all serials)
4. Everyone and everything is recorded on traffic cams (White collar)
5. At the end of the episode the villain is caught (Most series)
6. A hot girl sleeps with half the town and finally ends up with the geek across the hall (Big Bang Theory)
7. 90% of time spent is at the bar (HIMYM)
8. The lead character will always get laid somehow or the other (2.5 men, californication and the list goes on)
9. Anything and everything is a better love story than twilight
10. Most series are way better than the movies (Game of thrones and so on)

PS : I have no grudges. If not for such series, i would never have survived college. I'm sure many feel the same way

Sachin - A Legend in this Sport Forever

What is there left to say about the man?

Words are now as meaningless as runs on the final, dreary afternoon a of long-drawn Test. Instead, let us celebrate -- and there is so much to celebrate!

Suffice to say, he is the greatest cricketer I have ever seen. I haven't seen Bradman, but he is as close to perfection as you can get. His insatiable hunger, combined with incredible talent, makes him a real genius. When people criticise him, all I point to them is the 100 international hundreds

The difference between Sachin and a really good player is the latter, if he scores a hundred in the first innings and has once again scored a fifty in the second, will, in all likelihood, play one loose shot thereafter. It happens to us all. Sachin, however, will leave nothing to chance and will get the second innings hundreds as well. That's why I always say that (Brian) Lara was a great and Ponting too was a brilliant, but Sachin, without any hesitation, is the greatest. He is the best I have ever seen and will perhaps ever see. No batsman in the next 50 years can score 100 international hundreds

Look don't Touch

A Harmless Time Pass

People always have a low opinion on the boys who flock to street corners and do the so called "Sighting" but they fail to understand that nobody is immune to this. What's wrong in looking? After all, people do say 'Look don't touch'.

The problem maybe because the guys tend to cross limits but trust me when i say this. There is no better pass time for both sexes besides sighting. It's cheap, requires no work and can be done on the go. After all,
what is the use of beauty if it is not admired? Nobody lost anything just because somebody looked at them. I don't approve of drooling but drooling and "sighting" are two very different things.

Look at this in my way. You are stuck in traffic, driving your bike on a very hot day and a seriously hot chick pulls over next to you. She's inside a car but visible. Would you mind the wait? If any girls are reading this, think that a handsome hunk pulled over next to you.

The beautiful thing about "sighting" is that you don't need to look out for only the pretty ones. It happens on the go and even the "Mokka pieces" are fun to watch. You can make comments to yourself. However if you voice out your comments to attract their attention or hurt them, do know that you have crossed a line. Again, "sighting" and ogling are two very different things.

Another place where this works is when you travel alone. Time flies by when you look around. I do not know what sightseeing means in the conventional sense but "sighting" does cool me off.

You get immensely relaxed by just a glance. It's so cool. Best of all, it has no guidelines. Look all you want. Just don't make the person whom you are looking at feel uncomfortable
